Our Programs

Southeastern Career Center provides vocational skill training and career exploration opportunities for the students from all twelve of our participating schools. Students attend vocational programs for half of their school day and attend classes at their home high school for the other half of the day.

Most programs offer six credits per year, included in the Elective Selection for Advanced Honor Diplomas or Graduation Requirements and Directed Electives for Core 40. The Technical Honors Diploma is available for those who meet the criteria. Any student may participate in a vocational program regardless of his or her plans after high school. Students may participate for one year in courses listed as two-year programs.

Most programs have articulation agreements with universities that allow students to receive college credit or advanced placement for successfully completing their vocational experience. Credit, as well as accepting universities, varies among programs.
