Students who enroll in this course will be introduced to the
role of the dental assistant as a part of the dental team. Course content for
this program will include tooth identification and anatomy, diseases of the
mouth, infection control, oral hygiene, and identification and utilization of
dental instruments. Lab time will give the students the opportunity for
real-life experience.
