SCC wants to say a big congratulations to all the students who participated in the State SkillsUSA competition this weekend. Our Building Trades PM team received a Bronze metal for the Teamworks Competition. This team consisted of Jared Imlay (Jennings County), Evan Rinear (Jac-Cen-Del), Eligh Gabbard-Heitz (Jennings County), and Conner Yorn (South Ripley). Our Building Trades AM team received a Silver metal for the Teamworks Competition. This team consisted of Jackson Chipman (South Dearborn), Justin Harper (East Central), Hunter Booth (South Dearborn), and Kellen Boggs (Jennings County). In addition, Jonathan Caudill (East Central) from the Electrical Trades program received second place for Industrial Motor Control. Our Facility Maintenance students also received multiple awards. Tyler Devor (Jennings County) received gold for the Facilithon. Joseph Miller (East Central) received gold for Action Skills. A team of Braden Immenhort (Soutwestern) and Joshua Finley (Jennings County) received gold for Community Service Project. Collin Woolf (Southwestern) received bronze for Employment Application Processes. We also had multiple winners for the Building Maintenance category, Collin Woolf (Southwestern) received gold, Jacob Hopkins (Lawrenceburg) received silver, and Kane Ferreira (Lawrenceburg) received bronze. Once again, congratulations for your accomplishments. The Southeastern Career Center is proud of all the students who have competed in the SkillsUSA competitions.
