Cosmetology 1 students and Princesses treated the residents with manicures at Manderley Nursing home this morning!
Thank you to Safe Passage for speaking to Cosmetology I students yesterday! They educated the class on the "Cut it Out" program. The program teaches awareness about domestic violence, provides training to salon professionals in recognizing the warning signs and safely refers clients, colleagues, friends and family to local resources.

Students from Health Science and Dental Science participated in the National Great American Smoke Out Day. The day was spent educating students and staff in the harmful effects of smoking. Cosmetology students were also involved in the day by giving hand massages to demonstrate ways to relieve stress other than smoking. It was a great day.
